Rayface, from Houston’s north side area, exploded on the rap scene in 2016 with monstrous hit “Bout It.” The north side trap lord has now returned with new visual for “Trust Nobody.”
If Rayface’s goal was to inflict fear in the opposition with this “Trust Nobody” visual, super director Michael Artis did a perfect job vividly relaying that message.
The video begins with Rayface peeping out of blinds with a big chopper looking like the Malcom X of the trap and I’m assuming he’s watching for intruders. Then following him peeping out the window, he goes to burying a something. Now I don’t quite know what he was putting away but the Northside emcee did mention “don’t make him catch a body” repeatedly throughout the hook.
Artis created a horror film type atmosphere for “Trust Nobody” and it’s perfect because when you’re living life as a certified trap star, your life is similar to a horror movie.
